Tesamorelin is a synthetic 44-amino acid peptide on the human GHRH(1-44) backbone (molecular formula C₂₂₁H₃₆₆N₇₂O₆₇S, molecular weight approximately 5,135.9 Da, CAS number 804475-66-9) with a trans-3-hexenoic acid modification at the N-terminus.
