Loyalty Program
Earn points on every research-grade order
The pp-loyalty program awards points for every dollar spent on completed orders. Points are redeemable for discounts on future orders. Customers also earn at higher rates as they reach higher tiers, qualify for lower free-shipping minimums, and unlock better redemption rates. Refer colleagues for additional points awarded to both parties.
How you earn
You earn 1 point for every $1 spent on a completed order. Points are awarded once the order moves to a completed status; refunds reverse points. Points expire 12 months from earning; we send a reminder email 14 days before expiry.
Worked example: a $400 order at the Member tier earns 400 points. The same order at Senior Researcher tier earns 600 points (400 × 1.5).
After your first completed order, an additional 100 points are awarded as a welcome credit.
Tiers
Your tier is based on lifetime points earned (no expiry). Each tier carries operational benefits — better redemption rates, lower free-shipping minimums, and a higher earn multiplier on completed orders. Tiers are promote-only: once achieved, you keep the tier.

Worked example: a Senior Researcher placing a $400 order earns 600 points and qualifies for free shipping (cart total ≥ $100 at this tier). At Principal Investigator, free shipping applies regardless of cart total.
Free shipping
Standard free shipping requires a minimum cart total. Higher tiers progressively lower that threshold, and Principal Investigator tier always ships free regardless of cart total. Eligible orders show “Free shipping (loyalty perk)” as a shipping option at checkout.
How you redeem
Three redemption types are available, with rates that scale by tier (see the matrix above):
- Fixed discount — Convert points to a flat dollar discount on your order ($5 per 100 points at Member tier; up to $10 per 100 points at Principal Investigator).
- Percent discount — A single percent-off coupon costing 500 points (10% off at Member tier; up to 20% off at Principal Investigator).
- Cart bonus (BOGO) — When you have at least two items in your cart, the cheaper one becomes free. Costs a flat 1,500 points across all tiers.
Redemption rules:
- One redemption coupon per cart — pick the type that fits your order best.
- Each redemption is capped at 50% of the cart total — you’ll always pay for at least half the order in dollars.
- Coupons expire 30 days from issue.
To redeem: visit your loyalty dashboard, click the redemption you want, and a coupon code is generated. Apply it at checkout.
Refer a colleague
Share your unique referral link from your loyalty dashboard. When a colleague creates an account and completes their first qualifying order, both parties receive 200 points. Referrals expire 90 days from creation if the referee doesn’t complete a qualifying order in time.
